transfer case electrical issues

turn key on 4wd light comes on but goes off immediately..

drives for 4-5 min. fine shifts great all of a sudden limp mode..

change tcase solonoid and heat sensor.. same f*ckin problem


any fuses i can check?

I am still questioning the code number. First letter you gave me was a P and that does not make sense. Need a Tech 2 on this truck and you need to go into the Transfercase module.

The solonoid goin back to transfer case needs power right?... no power

Does anybody know what all relays it goes through from the 4x4 button to tcase solonoid

Pulled every fuse in truck nothin blowed

Has to be a relay tripped

There is also a relearn procedure that must be done when changing transfer case.

what's that consist of...

I'm no mechanic by no means and don't try to be.... but I think that it may be transfer case control module, I found a burnt spot were the f*ckin wires rub up against the front driveshaft.. and it was thr actuator hot wire... so I'm thinkin it got the control module

I had the truck runnin perfect for about 2hours... then wire shorted out and threw into limp mode

I did look it up.. and that will cause a powertrain limp
