What's the best method of replacing the transfer case output bushing?

Ideally with the back half still attached as I've already done the pump rub kit. Replaced the seal already and it still drips so I was planning to do a new yoke, ujoint, seal, and bushing. Thanks guys. :thumb:

FWIW yes I've searched and there's no straight answer

We should just meetup and figure it out. I'm in Frederick. :thumb:

I know there's some kent moore bushing removal tool but the one thread I read said it was about 450 bucks and the guy got the wrong one.

I would try a new yoke first.

Rebuilding my 263xhd in the evenings after work now. Drove the rear bushing out with a bushing driver on the bench and it was very tight. If you try the slide hammer idea be sure to have a back up plan to pull the t-case and do it apart. The bushing length is 2.115" long. Good luck Fred
