Full build with a good converter. Don't skimp here if u want it to last. Always plan for more hp later cause it never stops. Then do the Pump rub fix. And if u are goin to play hard often, t-case brace and a good trans cooler. Mine and a few buddies are at the level u are talkin about and I'm goin higher in a few weeks when I do my twins, injectors, ect. The trans gets warmer quicker. That's for sure. What are u planning on doin? New turbos? Bigger single? Nitrous?

Find a good builder and ask him. Don't go cheap and don't buy discount parts and then take them to your builder.

To the OP im sure mikes stage 4 build will be more than enough and it will hold the power you want!

I hear the same thing. What options do you have for us zf6 guys? How much hp will the stock trans with good aftermarket DD clutch hold?

From what I've seen the stock ZF-6 are holding trucks over 800 RWHP, just need a good clutch. I think guys were seeing input/output shaft failures above the 800 RWHP mark.

for the pump rub fix it keeps the fins from eating thru the case. U get a bushing to go on the back side between the case. I believe the factory fixed 08+ trucks. They have a different case iirc.
