I put a 04 lly tranny in my 04 lb7 and all I had to was the neutral safety switch other then that it was all the same
I just did this swap. All I had to do was take a tubing cutter and cut off about 1/4 in from the lines to get them in the tranny then I changed my Tcm tune to a lb7 Tcm tune and I was good to go
What you did was cut the end of the line that goes into the O ring for sealing. This works in a pinch but your cooler lines will sweat from now on because of the lack of sealing.
So far it has worked great. By sweat u mean seepage? The sealing o ring is near the outside of the fitting correct ?as long as the fit is exact it should work just the same. The only difference is the beveled taper end is cut off
The sholder on the cooler line itself does not match the radius on the fitting which will allow it to willig alot. It will seep. Eventualy it will destroy the O ring.
