Long story short taking a trans out of a 05 lly all bolts are out and jack under it . It seems to to stuck to the engine adapter plate i dont want to pry or hammer due to breaking something,any ideas ? anyone seen this ? thx :thumb:

Make sure you got all of the bolts. I know it sounds pretty remedial but There are a few hidden ones that are tucked in there. The first time I dropped my tranny, I did the same thing and i just missed 1 bolt.

im almost positive i got them all but ill check ! ive been a diesel tech / hevy equip guy for 6 years as far as experince goes . thx guys i was kinda in a hurry last nite might of just been in too much of a hurry !
Got it out it was stuck like a mofo ! had to beat on the case with a deadblow hammer then gota small prybar in the crack and wiggled the snot while the bar was in there
Mine was hung up on the dowel pins, is there an easier way to pull them if they are hanging up on the dowel pins? Just incase I gotta pull another one anytime soon.
Ya it was stuck on the pins . got trans apart all c1 to c4 are smoked ! and c5s spotted . this trans is gunna need some love 
I Usually spray some penetrating oil on everything a few days prior to diassembling and put some anti seize on the dowel pins when reassembling. Seems to work well!:thumb:

something else is seriously wrong with the trans if C5's are burned.....
