Trans shifting issues LLY

Had my trans built with Alligators kit & a 1056 converter for about a year & a half. Had problems with the build where it had to go back into the shop on 2 different occasions. Kinda lost faith that they are able to fix it, so Im planning on doing the repairs myself. Never seem to have good luck when other people work on my stuff.

The trans has always upshifted too soon out of third gear even when it was stock. Figured the build would take care of that but it didn't. It'll be accelerating from a stop and seems hesitant when shifting and almost as soon as it goes into 3rd (maybe hang on for a second) upshifts into 4th.

When wide open it will click off shifts nice & smooth with no delay. The shifting issues occur with in town driving under normal throttle input. Seems like anything under 60-75% throttle it wont stay in 3rd. It feels like a positive shift & not a slip.

No trans codes, fluid level is good. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Quick question, can I use any TCM from a LLY? Does it need to be flashed to work in my truck & if so can tuner do this?

If someone has been tuning on the TCM, for sure flash it back to stock before you go chasing your tail over a tuning problem.

Have no clue what the previous owner did. So how do I go about getting a stock file into the TCM. Do I need to have Kory send me one & load it to my autocal to flash the TCM?
