Does that thing have a Copilot on it? Have you tried plugging the factory connector directly into the trans?

Yes it does. Now I feel dumb. I haven't tried that yet. Ill do that tonight

Just had my old man try the factory harness only. No difference. Solder that connection last night didn't eithier. Im running short on time might tow it to a dealer so they can use a tech 2

Until now lol. Driving home today in the rain came to a stop light and when I went to take off again it was stuck in 4th gear. Haven't hooked the v2 up yet so ill get back when I do.

Only code is a 2228. When I clear it it'll come back on in a few key cycles. no trans codes though? Shifts ok now that I have let it cool down. Drove around for 2 hours and it never happened again. I pulled an oil sample out of trans and I'm going to send it out to CAT to see what they say. Might have a bearing going out or something that keeps clogging up the valve body possibly?
