Oh I know. I'm probably just going to order a new converter for it also. Might as well just go with all new parts and do it at once so I'm not taking it apart 30 different times to fix it lol

If your converter has failed you need a new converter, transmission cooler, AND the transmission needs rebuilt or replaced.

The transmission and converter are essentially one unit. When something fails it almost always sends debris everywhere and damages other components.

I would get it actually diagnosed. Take it from someone that has wasted more money by throwing parts at things trying to diagnose based on assumptions. It looks like you live reasonably close to one of, if not, the best Allison guys in the world. I don't know why you would throw parts at it based on assumptions from the interwebz. I don't mean any offense to anyone I know a lot of knowledgeable folks have taken the time to post but it's difficult to properly troubleshoot something without it in front of you.

Yeah. I'm only an hour from wherli custom fab and and hour from dans diesel. So I'm pretty close to both.

Whoops was thinking you were the guy in the crate trans thread and taking it to Mike. However, I think the point still stands.

BTW Jason has a hot flush machine, not sure about Dans
