what's the difference between mobil 1 synthetic ATF and Mobil Delvac synthetic ATF??

Only the Delvac is a TES 295 (Allison approved fluid — like Transynd). Mobil boasts a little saying that the Delvac is more recent in the evolution of TES 295 fluids and thus (by implication) better than Transynd. I dunnnoooooo. Here are the TES 295 Allison approved fluids:
AN-011001 Castrol Heavy Duty Lubricants TranSynd
AN-031002 BP Autran Syn 295
AN-031003 Cognis Corporation Emgard 2805
AN-031004 International Truck & Engine Company Fleetrite Synthetic ATF
AN-051005 ExxonMobil Lubricants and Petroleum Specialties Company Mobil Delvac Synthetic ATF
AN-071006 John Deere & Company HD SynTran

I put regular Amsoil synthetic ATF in my ally before i found out Amsoil makes a spicific Transynd replacment oil called Torque-Drive. I've put way too much power through mine and it needs a complete Mike L job but other than that I think the Amsoil might be its saving grace till i can get it built;)

The reason why Amsoil Torque drive isn't TES 295 approved is the company has to pay Allison to put their approval on the product, this is what I was told by the sales rep.

this is an old thread but is the other fluids out there that Mike listed ok to mix with transynd? I need to change the spin on and need to pick a quart of something to top it off. Im not really wanting to buy a whole gallon of transynd.

There are bulk tanks at BAE labled DEXVI, they weren't labled with a brand name, but I can't think what else they would have it there for, unless it was to fill, or top of the allsions they use in the trucks they build. There the only bulk tanks with any type of ATF I've seen.
