Hello added a new ppe trans cooler and a new ppe deep pan to a some what fresh inglewood trans rebuild due to trying to get the trans temp down. After installing everything I added almost 12 qts of fluid (which with my math and reading should be enough?) when I have the truck running and temp up to 150 170 the dip stick still reads low almost in the cold marks. Any thoughts? Keep adding fluid? All ready has 12 qts. Thanks.

8 qts +\- is what a stock pan will take. Ppe pan adds another 4 qts then you drained the cooler. You're going to need a lot more fluid. Aim for a little above low at 170 and it will leave room for further expansion

First always check fluid levels after mx at least a couple times after to verify no leaks or air pockets have been dislodged. If fluid continues to be low check for leaks.

Second do the above.

Third the deep pan won't help with temps. It only takes longer to heat up then stays hotter longer.

With a deep pan keep the fluid at the bottom of the hot grid. Top of the cold grid might be better in Calif.
