Okay need to just double check what I need to do. Have a built Trans and I have an Allison deep pan as well.

Everyone says while truck is up to temp to have the fluid level
At the low mark on the stick while truck is running? And this should provided crisper shifts? I'm at the hot mark on the stick. I know I have too much fluid in there...

Thanks Trevor

Is it coming out of the vent on? I would wait and at your next spin on change just swap it out and don't top off and re check fluid if you are overly concerned.

Thanks fellas...

Yes I'm changing my spin on Thursday as I am off that day.

Just want to really dial this truck in.

with a deep pan, i run mine, when at full operating temp, at the very bottom of the hot mark on the dipstick.

TX of course
IIRC that what mike suggest for everyone. I normally beat on mine good before I check it just to make sure its good and hot. My understanding is the hotter the better before checking it.

Well changed my spin on. I'm frustrated on how it shifts. Stupid thing. The initial 1-2 then lock up it just feels like it falls on it's face in auto mode. New fuel filter tune adjusted etc.

I have a box where I can delay the lock up but don't know
How.

It's Ben's BT box.

Thinking I need to try delaying it?

My mods are a suncoast 1056 converter and Trans.

II dual fuelers, II 30% nozzles, II S475 compounds with stock charger. Lift pump etc.

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of having a deep pan? Is 17 gallons what a deep pan trans should hold? Minus what's in the cooler and lines?

The deep pan holds 3 1/2 quarts more than the stock pan-- running it at the lower part of Hot-- is probably a quart lower. Works OK for me.

Your probably right and I'm wrong. I was thinking in the way that it would be the same amount of fluid, but just lower in relation to the dip stick. I'm dumb

I'd get a fast learn done with a tech II first. Also when changing the spin on the magnet wasn't broken was it? I've seen them break and block the flow.

I reset all taps with v7.5 but I'm guessing that wasn't good enough.

I'll have to get a quick learn done then. I don't know if EFI has it or not.

Luckily my wife's work has one as she works at a diesel
Shop.

I just want this thing clicking off shifts like a mo fo. I am stripping it down to try and get low 12's.
