I designed these a few years ago and mike helped me out with advise and test fitting. I could never get a reasonable price on lazer cutting which kept me from being able to sell at a reasonable price. Tony was my biggest seller, which was only one here and there. I eventually just turned the rights to the part over to him which in turn as enabled him to build them cheaper and sale to his customers at a reasonable price.

I bought one from DHD around the holidays and installed it; nice piece!

First off, thank you Mike, James and Chris for the kind words. I have been approached by a few people interested in a transmission cross member, Chris being one of them. The problem I've encountered in the past is the simple fact that demand is usually low on an item like this. Im going to take another look at this, seems to be more interest than before.

Whomever Tony has building these seems to do good work. Although I'm no longer involved with the project it's nice to see it doing well. If you get a chance post a pic of it installed. When I was producing them I painted the semigloss black. The orange looks really good, I bet it looks better installed.

I have the original one Landon built for Mike L in my garage, I'll go get a picture. I need to get back to Mike's soon to return some parts as well as this crossmember. It serves me no purpose anymore.

I've actually got the factory cross member out of my truck right now so it's a good time to try something. I'm not a vendor so I won't be able to sell on here but if it pans out someone that's already a vendor may offer them. In the past Mike L has sold my products, maybe I can sweet talk him in to selling my cross members:hug:

I was able to build mine for $275 if I was paying competitive fab rate for my time. No fancy laser cut pieces but it is chromoly tubing serves the same function as the old socal ones. Allstons sells the prebent crossmember and the mount adapter for the trans. I just had to make the gussets and frame rail tabs. I can see where landon is coming from, I wouldn't want to make 100 of them hoping to make say 5g profit only to sit on them for 2 yrs

If you do decide to get into doing them just do preorders I bet you could get at least a dozen if not more.

Well, I'll be darned. There IS interest in them again.

I had NO IDEA that Landon was the one who made them originally, let alone that he made that lower control arm piece. Wish I would've known about that piece back when I was running BBT. Every little bit helps. ;)

Sean makes an EXCELLENT point. Do prepaid orders, or at least ask for half (3/4?) down from people by a certain date before you make them.
