Trans build slow shifts

OK. Interesting. What the heck would cause that? I had em in my hand and looked them over about 1,800 miles ago and everything looked fine. I assume a tear like that would be clearly visible right?
Sometime I hate working on my own stuff.

There was a run of bad ones that would tear but yes, it’s just a tear causing pressure bleed off.

IMO it's unlikely you have more than one if there's one torn. But they'll flare much harder than his from what I've seen.

What brand are the pistons? National makes the OEM piston

Should be the c3 apply since it’s what engages for reverse. Would explain your flares as c3 is used for 3rd. Doesn’t really explain the 3-4 flare but you may have hurt clutches at this point

I guess the video doesn't really show it from a stop, I had it in my head it was flaring 1-2, 2-3 and 3-4
