You somewhat get attached to these things & after hearing the story there are only 2 better homes the train can be in. Steve's or mine :D
The new owner is awesome.
Congrats

If I had know that the train was for sale again it would be in my driveway:) I still cant believe that I missed it the first time around

Tim will take good care of it. This means I should get to pull against it. :)

Guess old Boobo did not like a quicker truck in the hood and had to run it out of town.

Actually bobo found the truck for me because he knew that I wanted it.. I missed the first opportunity to purchase the truck and told myself if I was able to find it for sale I will buy it. I am not a big fan of buying modified vehicles, but I saw how steve takes care of his things, and I wanted a pull truck. I will be pulling the truck close to home its purpose is to have fun. If I am able to attend 10 events or 1 a month so be it. I have to small children and a wife that are more important, and a work schedule that dose not allow much time. The train runs great I am very happy with it.:D

Did you get to hook it yet?

No.. Went to a pull saturday and we are required to have a air shut off. I attempted to make my own and did ok but I made the cable to short. So when I took the slack out of the sled chain it pulled the shutoff(didnt realize). The truck started to missfire, spit, sputter. With not a whole lot of knowlage I thought injector?? To set the stage it was 11:30-12:00 at night and starting to rain. Needless to say I put it on the trailer and headed home.:( The 90 minute ride home seemed alot longer than the travel there. When I returned home I noticed the knife valve on the shut off was closed. I am not a tech but I will try.. Went to a pull sunday close to home and when I got there the skys opened and let 1" of ran down in 2 hours so no pull. I am looking for pulls close to home, the truck is for fun only. I dont want to travel great distances

Was a great night for the train. Pulled a local pull and beat a 2.8 p pump dodge by 28 feet. Total pull was 309 feet 25.1 mph. The dodge placed 2nd at bunker hill when I had my shutoff problem.
