Bigger tires are not much of an option on my lowered truck. I tried 305/50s and had to take them back. They rubbed tremendously. But of coarse my offset has a lot to do with that. I could add some weight to the back didn't think of that.

On your pulling to the left problem: I would check your pitman and idler arm as well as the idler support. Mine were bent and it would pull to the left everytime. Replaced all three, and now it's good to go. Pulls perfectly straight.
Those were all replaced about a year ago. Still has same problem.
You don't want a locker in the front for racing around. You've got issues in the front end if it is pulling that bad. I can put it in 4x4, on my 1200hp tune, hands off the wheel and floor it. It will stay straight as an arrow.
I haven't dug into anything yet. I may try a brace before I decide to go any deeper. I know it's not any bad suspension parts they were all replaced as well. Only thing I haven't done is hub assemblies or in the front dif.

They are 12" tires. And I don't think offset is causing the issue as I said it's always pulled to left. It's just gradually gotten worse.

What I honestly should do is see if both tires in the front spin in the grass. Maybe the passenger side is not spinning at all. That may also be the cause of the loud clunk noise I hear when I engage and disengage. I may also add that I have never changed the fluid in the front dif. In the 5 yrs I have had it. Hell it may be trashed. I have done the rear twice but not the front.

When you say try a brace are you talking about a dhd centerlink brace? Before I had one my launches were terrible, now I have the dhd brace, xd tie rods and completely decranked. My truck launches amazing and straight

Yes that's the brace I'm talking about. Another forum member recommended trying that. He hasn't let me down yet. :thumb:

Yes buy one asap lol. It was night and day difference for me. I was running sleeves and completely de cranked with no brace. It would still hop and pull left, put the brace on and all hopping was gone and it goes straight every time.

yeah that wont do a thing to tell you anything. Also, i didnt say the offset WAS your issue, i said its not helping your issue. ill bet you have a compounding issue of stuff up front causing your pull. 9/10 times its more than one thing that makes the truck not launch correctly unless you are very on top of regularly checking steering, suspension, and driveline parts as well as replacing worn parts asap.

checking to see if they spin in grass wont do a thing cause you have an open diff. soon as one tire sees more traction than the other, the tire with less traction will spin. You need to keep the LF on the ground, engage the front actuator and lift the RF. Then spin the RF and see if it spins the drive shaft. then do the same for the LF. listen for any bad noises. if nothing comes up, you need to do a very thorough steering parts and suspension parts check.

if the collar inside that front axle broke, you would basically still be in 2wd as the front tires wont do any pulling, just FYI.

Ok that makes sense I will try that first. Probably this weekend. That's what sucks about being on nights. Sleeping all day.
