Im currently looking at options for traction bars. ive had my eye on the dhd long bar set for a while now then the other day I saw that longhorn fab shop offers what looks to be a really nice heavy duty clean set of traction bars what are opinions here the dhd are nice and proven on the sled track but the longhorn bars have a super clean look im a sled puller so no cal tracs just need opinions looking to follow truck body lines which is why i like the two sets in question thanks in advance

I had mine made by Justin Goode down in knoxville at MBS Diesel, and he makes some nice bars. You can have them made any length you want.

Check out Dustins at Diesel Addiction. I had them on my lb7 and they looked and functioned great. Price was reasonable for what you get...

I have the Long horn bars and they are constantly loosing up. Another issue with mine is there is no spot to tighten the bars. I use a pipe wrench on the bar to tighten them up. I think they offer different rod ends now and they welded in a nut to the bar for tightening purposes

I've had several sets over the years and wile they are more expensive the OUO traction bar setups are the best. Ride is better and no wheel hop ever

I have a set of long horns professional bars. Way better then the 450$ set Manfred has. The heim joints are heavy duty and so are the bars. Brackets are nice and clean
