My plan is to leave the front Caltracs bracket on and use the Caltracs axle bracket for the Cognito bar end. The Cognito rear pivot is a hiem joint so hopefully it will work out. I will let you know fairly soon if they work.

Exactly what I figured you were planning just wasn't 100%!

When I took the drivers side front leaf mount bolt out I cut the shank part off the end and when I installed it I reversed it and put the nut on the inside....I have plenty of clearance this way and if I ever do have to remove the bolt again I won't have to screw with the fuel tank

Smart choice! Wish I would of thought about that...
