Ive always been told they should go on the frame close to were the first u joint is located so that would mean different lengths for different wheel bases

I've also heard this but I do know they work well even if there short. I built mine as short as I could.

mine are a little over 60" dont pull but have not had any issues yet....made em myself

X2 all I know is 60" is the magic number for cc/sb. Made mine myself and they work fantastic with zero issued.

i run cal tracs. i have yet to see a dmax bend a frame however i have saw a few dodges bend in half.

2 in my neighborhood have. one no so bad
