Ladder style on my rig. :thumb: Wheeling with them is limited, due to them not allowing alot of articulation.

If you can get that 60' down shes got 11's in her for sure with that mph.

What hole are you running the caltracs in? How far off the spring pack is the bar? IMHO preloading them is worthless. you want them just barely making contact..or at least thats been the best for my truck

however i do have a lot less srping then most and therefor more squat...YMMV

Running the Caltracs in the lowest hole which makes them damn close to paralell with the drive shaft. Bar is about 1/8th off the springpack. I truly believe the truck has 11s in it too. I race at over 5200' of elevation too! My plan was to race the truck before NHRDA finals in Ennis and get that 11 but shit happens and I couldn't go. Oh well guess ill have to go for glory on these wiggle rods at over a mile high!

Where you spinning and hopping when you cut that 1.89? Or we're you just taking it easy?

If the motor lets go it's most likely gonna be on the big end once you hit 4-5 gear. That's what really stresses it out.

Don't be afraid to let her eat if you haven't run out of traction yet

It was my first time racing with the compounds. I tried launching @ 15 psi or so and I just spun the tires not really hopping too much just a tad. First pass was 12:5? Second pass was 12:45....backed off PSI @ launch to 10 and ran 12:25...made slight adjustment on Caltracs and launched @ 8-10 PSI and clicked off the 12:18. The 60' was pretty much the same all night.

James is too decent of a guy to market his own stuff. So, I will do it for him....

I run his bars and have been very pleased. No wrap, no bounce, no bullshit.

I have had good luck with my long bars, no issues with them at all, I use my bags to help with anti squat, but I have yet to cut a really good 60 time

I have the Fabtech Bars, clearance could also be an issue, as the gusset on the bars hangs even lower than the bars themselves. If you are strictly drag-racing, I'd get the Caltracs. If you are sled pulling, or drag racing and sled pulling, I'd get a long bar, like the Fabtech, or Tony's kit.

You have those bars on upside down.
