I was planning on getting some traction bars in the next month or two. What would be better, traction bars or caltracs? Who sells good traction bars? Any information would be great.

Thanks for the support!

ive had caltracs and now i have long traction bars. the caltracs if driven with preload are a little harsh when you hit bumps, but do well at the track.

i just put on the long traction bars, ride is the same as stock and so far seem to keep axle movement very minimal also.

Do you like the traction bars as well as the caltracs?

I like my caltracs, havent messed with them a lot, but if your truck rides with the stops almost touching the leaf, you hit bumps it will hit the stop and is a little harsh. I have mine setup so it always has load on the stops.

If you were thinking of pulling traction bars would be better but I see alot of drag racers running caltracs. I have only tried traction bars and I can't even notice they are on there when driving normal.

Thanks for the information guys! I know the caltracs would cost a little more since I have a lift on my truck. I am planning to put some deaver springs on as well. I currently have 2" blocks. The ride sucks in the back.
