TPMS

So, I'm about to buy like my 10th TPMS sensor. Any idea why these things keep dropping out so quickly? I have been told how they should last 4-5 years and I barely get 6-9 months intermittently between them. Is there a parent unit that reads these sensors I can look at? Open to ideas. Thanks

Using whatever brand the tire shops, dealers, etc.. sell

I have had very good luck so far with 315mhz sensors from a place called Source One Autoparts out of Kalamazoo. They sell on Amazon under S1Autoparts.

I'm assuming it's a universal sensor and didn't change between models?
