I have been running an ecoboost f150 for about 50,000 miles and we own 6 more 1/2 ton fords they are mediocre at best. Only thing I would say is above par is interior the rest is crap fuel mileage sux, motor and fuel related problems you name it. And ford warranty sux to boot might as well not have one. They are all bone stock and ford hasn't covered half the crap that has been replaced. And by no means abused.

My dad was 1 week late on the injector warranty with one of his duramax's and they told him to pound sand.
I gave up on any warranty support from gm or any other stealership.
My dads is a fx4, and I love it. Tons of room. Ecoboost is great.

Get it on
Got to get it on!
No choice but to get on!!
Mandate... Get-it-on!!!

This is not the right thread to be a Ford nutswinger. We are here to bash Toyota's. Get with the program mayne! ;)

If you watch the video in the link ^^^ you can see the part where they shot the Toyota commercial. Shows the truck when its crossing the bridge "pulling" the shuttle.

I was in LA the week prior to the move and the papers were reporting The donut shop owner was pissed he had to remove his large donut from his roof. and the commercial shows it.

I would like to see the tundra drive to a pull set up and win the 8500-9000 lb classes then drive home with a smile on your face that you didnt break anything

sure it can tow it, not a doubt in my mind...start the countdown on how long the drive train will last...the tranny clutches must have been screaming their heads off. let alone the rear diff overheating, along with axle bearings and breaking system being pushed over their limits in a "real" situation.
theres a video kicking around of a vdub towing something stupidly huge too...
a honda civic will tow a 30' trailer...but the same thing, how long will it last.
throw a heavy duty truck, specially made for those aplications and it will out perform in braking, steering, handling, and longevity of the drivetrain.
