Looking for a converter for a truck that tows heavy loads (10-15Klbs) every other weekend but also plays hard during the week with no load. Truck will be driven an average of 100miles per day during the week and when towing on the weekends the trips could be 500-1500miles.
Converter will be going into a stock trans with the transgo jr kit. I will be running no more than a 110hp tune when empty and 50hp tune when towing.
I've noticed that there are a few used SC1057's floating around for sale, would this converter be too tight or is that good for towing? Ideally I would like to have Mike's converter but the budget is tight and used sounds like a good option. But thats why I'm on here asking advice from those of you who have been around this market for a long time.
Really what I'm asking is would a used SC 1057 be a good option or not.
