Now that its summer time and 100*+ outside i've been rethinking about some of the tunes I tow on. This is a small little tune I made awhile back 20% over PW and a little more boost. It smokes a little bit under a load but other than that it drives pretty good. I was hoping somebody that knows more about tuning than i do could take a quick look at it and see if the EGT's should stay low enough to tow with. I dont have any guages on my LMM as of yet so i have no way to judge my EGT's. Thanks in advance for any insight anyone can give me

Invest the money on a pyro! With a tune you know little about and towing with no pyro, you're asking for trouble. Return it to stock and don't worry

Towing my wake board boat I'm seeing 1400 easy. Saw 1500 a couple times today. Mountains are not that big around here either.

Just my .02.... but anytime I tow, it goes on a low power tune (sub 400rwhp) I do not believe in towing while having a healthy tune. Stock tune for towing, IMHO...

i set my lb7 to defuel @ 1350 f which is 100 deg under what edge default recommends!(edge recommends level 2 for towing so 60hp 175ft.lb torque) have seen it defuel a few times haulin camper/jet boat! i would highly recommend exhaust pyro! just my .02 cents!

It still has stock timing. PW is about 15% over stock with boost raised roughly 20% IIRC. I just dont use my LMM much except for when I want a quiet ride and dont want to listen to all the rumble of my LLY. Ill set it back to stock until i can get around to installing a pyro. Thanks for all the replies everyone

Anyone have a tow tune they can look at and see what PW their running that has fairly low EGT's? I can figure the boost out just not sure what PW to use for a tow tune.

Wow thats crazy. My LLY doesnt even run that hot. Do Cheetah's normally have high EGT's?

I know its a long shot just by looking at the tune but do you think 20%PW over stock would be over 400rwhp? I guess i just need to put a dsp switch in or flash the ecm where i can change tunes with my v2 so i can change from stock to higher HP tunes fairly quick. I've just never got around to tinkering with this lmm as much as i have my LLY.

I know some like to mess with it theirselves but a good tuner will sells single tunes for $100-$150 and you shouldn't have to worry about it.

if i can get a single tune for that much then it will be worth not having to mess with it. What tuner sells single tunes for that much?? Ive had efi live for over 3 years and have yet to buy a single tune lol

on a second note where do you find a LLM script for DSP format?? all my software is up to date but i have no LMM DSP scripts only lb7 and lly. I know they released the lmm dsp script awhile back didnt they??

Ok so i got the EGT's down a little bit but now im having a new problem. between 1500-1600rpm cruising at 55mph it is wanting to bog down. I'm no tuner but i looked over the boost tables and fuel tables and I dont see anything that would cause it to be laggy at that speed/RPM.

Here is the newer version of the tune i've been playing with. If anyone of you guys who know a good bit about EFI Live would take a quick look at it I would greatly appreciate it. :)

hell at this point if anyone has a tow tune they wouldnt mind sending me I would be willing to give it a try. This LMM makes me appreciate my LLY 100000X more than before

my lly has never seen anything over 1320 on my hottest tune for more than a second, i run a really good tow tune, and i tow my boat (6000lbs) with the A/C running up some steeeeeep and long hills in my area and the other day it was 99* and the highest i saw was 1042 when i hammered it to pass a guy... i think its in your tuning and air induction/flow.
