Allison 5sp: tow/haul "rocking"

Only in tow haul, and this is a fairly recent development after I had my TCM tuned.. Only happens when I'm keeping a constant speed. The trans starts to rock (for lack of better term)back and forth. Only happens, or at least I only notice it at lower speeds. I have to slightly speed up or slow down to smooth her out again. Just wondering if that's normal for lockup tuned TCM, or is something off. Its not terrible but it is noticable. Thanks in advance

Yes sir, I'm taking it down next week to do that. Just curious if that is normal or not from guys with TCM lockup tunes.

Too many people messing with the TCM and have no idea how an Allison works. Guess they think that since they have certain tables, they are obliged to mess with them and charge money.

I bet it is just because your tc is locking up. Both my trucks will get a little jumpy when the tc locks under low power situations at slow speeds.

Thats what I suspect it is, I just want to make sure something isn't off with it. Reassuring yours does it too lol.
