I am in need of one is thise RV tow bars. I am buying a duramax when I haven't home from the USA and need to tow my f350 back. I know I want to get the best but you think I'll need a 10,000 lb rated one? Them things are way more expensive that I thought

I have a blue ox that i use to tow my truck behind my motorhome. It's a class 4 10,000# hitch. I think my base plates and the bar were around 1000.00.

Why don't you just have a second driver go with you or bring a trailer with you and haul one back on a trailer?

cause to buy a trailer that size is like $3000, to rent one going one way is outrageous expensive too, and my wife doesn't have license yet. Anybody want a "free" F350? lol

and I am flying back from my overseas tour so not like I can just bring somebody. Don't suppose, if I need it matt78, you would let me use yours? I'll buy a base plate, basically pay for yours, and then when I return yours you give me money back. I know it's strange and a long shot but I am spending a fortune on this move and can't afford a new one.

For 03 and up trucks that dont have steering locks. How well does that do with the BlueOx? Does it actually behave and stay true to the road or does it wander?

As far as wander I don't know. I know I pulled my truck 700 miles on way and it tracked great. Also, blue ox is a very good company to deal with as far as warranty. I had an issue during shipping. No questions asked, sent an RMA number and it was done. Hell, they even shipped me a new tow bar before I sent mine back. And never asked for a cc number, and answered the phone on a Friday night. That goes along way with me since I'm basically on call 24/7.

They work great. You need the steering wheel to be unlocked or else when you take a corner you'll have some front tire wear issues

How's the new coach working out for you? All the appliances work. Ever service the Aqua Hot?

Oh so wheel does need to be unlocked? Glad you mention that cause I would assume it needs to be locked but I am driving mostly highway anyways but I guess an unlocked wheel will "self track"

Yeah, replaced the nozzle and the fuel filter. It's like a house, always fixing something. Seems like every trip a new light burns out lol. It's old but I like the quality.
