I've had my green keys for about 6 months. I want to lower the front about 1/2 inch. If I jack it up and loosen up on the torsion bars will I need to have the front end re-aligned?

too lower the torsion bars you don't have to jack the truck up, only when raising the truck up again. and yes you will need an alignment once you drop them.

Only went up about 3 turns on mine just this week, because I got new, bigger tires and I had mine aligned. I would rather just be safe then sorry. The Mickey Thompsons I bought weren't cheap and I don't want to buy anymore, anytime soon. Just my opinion.;)

i dropped mine all the way this last spring.... completely unwound them. and i put on about 18k miles on my summer tires, and yes it was wearing more on the inside of the front 2, but not drastically. and it went down the road perfectly straight still. this was dropping the front probably 2-3"
