Just measured from the block to the flywheel and i get a hair over 24mm. Measured from the bell housing to the converter and i get a hair over 28mm. Would that be fully seated?

If your measurement was from the bell housing to the tip of the converter mounting pad, that's perfect as that give you a little over 1/8 in to draw the converter forward. You must have an 1/8 of an in gap to keep from wiping out the pump.

Do you put one bolt in the converter then turn the motor skip the next two holes put the next bolt in so it pulls the converter up to the flywheel evenly then put the rest of the bolts in and torque all the bolts or does it not matter? Just asking to be sure i don't want to brake another pump

You draw the converter forward towards the engine with a screw driver. It better move forward. Never draw a converter forward by tightening bolts as it is a sure way to disaster. After you draw the converter forward with the screwdriver, you must be able to spin the converter freely.

Well thank you very much for posting that. I didn't know that and the 1st i used the bolts to pull it up to the flywheel so I'm guessing i got the pump in a bind and that's how i broke it? Thanks again for telling me the right way

Have pressure to the test port have tryied unhooking The big plug on the back of the transmission still wont move so I have no forward gears and no reverse i have park and neutral. Where do I start looking to fix this is it a valve body iusse or clutches

Are you sure you installed the bellhousing gaskets correctly and on the correct sides of the separator plate?

Those are correct.

How much pressure is it making at idle?

Does it try to move or load the motor at all in drive or reverse?

Not sure how much pressure it makes i don't have a gauge i just pulled the test port and alot of fluid came out when i started it. Only give it a little throttle and it still wont move it don't sound like its loading up the motor just sounds like its not in gear

Pull the pan and make sure the pin is properly installed in the manual shift valve.

I'm going to say it needs to come back out and go to someone who knows what they are doing I'm in over my head thing is finding someone to fix my mess up might be tricky most people most likely don't like fixing someone else's work

When i ordered my parts i asked him if he would build it and he didn't want to due to using different parts then he would. but ill ask him if he will fix my work, I'm going to guess he really isn't going to want to and i fully understand his point. he's a good guy just wants to do things his way
