You missed the list by a matter of minutes, sorry :(

Still missing:
  • BUST'EM 504: what was your MPH?
  • DuramaxPowered: Do you have the hundredths from your 12.01x run? It might be the difference between 13th and 15th.
  • duramax hd: Get those hundredths when you can. It might be the difference between 13th and 15th.

I drive mine to local events. 10.5 @ 132

Not true just stating what has been posted. When someone posts he drove 300 miles last year and drives to local events doesn't constitute daily driven.

How-ever I'm just poking fun if this is the list you gents want and it works then I applaud you and your attempts. Again the accomplishments of this Engine Transmission combo in these trucks are awesome. There is NO denying it,PERIOD! :thumb:

Any list will always be debated. This list IMO is for the 'special' trucks that cannot make the top 50 Dmax list. Josh's list will be more geared towards daily driven min modifications. If its completed!

So in closing I will say that this list should be considered the list like the have at the Olympics so every kid feels special and gets a ribbon! IE Special Olympics of Racing! :roflmao:

Long as that makes you feel better about yourself ;) :D. I will say and know mine is daily driven, she sees more time driving to walmart, work and towing the toyhauler since the built motor than its been to the track. hell ive only been there once since i built it . Now as for some others claiming theirs on DDs, i can understand. there is 1 10s truck i know for a fact that gets daily driven and that would be matt larsons. he drives it to trents shop every day and even raced down here this year, ran a 10.5-10.4, put trents tow truck on the trailer and towed it back to Utah.

Oh God here we go. Seems the slower guys in the other list were the ones cryin. Seems they were upset cause they couldn't compete. And who the hell has the right to say what makes any truck a DD? Take those slow opinions back to the slow list.:thumb:

Yeah, I'm not sure 300 mi/year counts as daily driven. I put on 15-25k a year, but I'm already too slow for the list, lol.

I'm just making the list, not policing who is on it. The impression I got is this is on the honor system. I suspect most of these guys feel they do (or can) drive their truck regularly on public roads. There will always be disagreement on what constitutes a DD. And maybe this list is like the special Olympics. But, I don't think so. Most of the trucks on the Top50 list can't be used for their original purpose: hauling and towing. Most (all?) of these can.

It fills a large hole between the "stock" trucks list and the full on race trucks Top50 list. For those of us who would rather have a moderately fast truck WITHOUT pushing stock parts to the breaking point, and who cant afford a dedicated race truck or would just rather have something we can still tow with when necessary.

And I'll add the new times when I am back at my computer later today.

I'm #32 on the 50 list so I don't think this is a special olympics list and some of the others are on the 50 list. True I don't drive it every day I have a stock truck to drive daily but if needed I could drive it daily but it is my baby and I don't like to put miles on it. But it still has full katzkin interior, full sound system and a/c. If you guys don't think it should be on the list it won't hurt my feelings as i'm going to get alot deeper on the 50 list.

#*@* it. Your truck belongs on this list. Doesnt matter how much u drive it. U own it, its your truck, if they wanna pay for it and tell u how to drive it, then fine but u can do what u want with your truck. Weight, hp,turbos, susp ect is the person who owns its decision along with how often its driven and how many miles go on it.

You must drive it to the track.

Personally, I think it belongs on the list. If you feel you could drive it daily (sounds like it has a nice interior to boot), then I vote it belongs. I know what you mean about not wanting to out miles on something. I have a motorcycle I treat the same way. I could drive it whenever, but I like to keep it clean and enjoy it mainly on special occasions.

True, but I got the impression we were wanting daily driveable type trucks, even if not driven daily. Just avoiding race only trailer queen trucks that happen to be registered, but never driven. Either way, I think cafryer's truck can stay. Just my opinion.

I thought every list had something special about it. I'm just happy to be on someones list as long as its not their s--t list.

We are getting list crazy!!:roflmao: What the hell, White Out drove to several of NHRDA races last year and this year including road trips to Topeka last year and Brainerd and Edmonton this year. I drive it on nice days and go to the local 1/8 mile track and have a little fun with the rice rocket kids and vettes on friday nite street legals. Has about 19K in the engine since the build. Don't turn it up much anymore since we started racing the 11.90 index. Best time to date is a [email protected] a couple years on a very sick tranny.
