Got some pictures. Still need to remove and paint the bars(gold or black, not sure yet). But these should give an idea. Cut the bars 3 inches and the bracket is about an inch behind the middle cab mount.

Steve, what I do when welding the inserts is insert a smaller diameter pipe into the threads and check with a sqaure. Tack at least 3 sides, then recheck. Dont let it get to hot when burning the weld in oe else one side will usually sag and will no longer be square

Tim I ended up wrapping a bit of duct tape around thread to make it a snug fit. Made it much easier to adjust and get close to straight, then tacked them in place.

Sorry guys. I knew this would come out eventually but I didn't think it would be so soon. I hope you'll still talk to me and maybe some day my skillset will come in handy. Sort of like the principal in Billy Madison.
