I'd look into a 4" tuff country. They're afford and are good lifts.

I'm running a 5" zone on my lml with the keys set the same as stock maybe a hear lower. Rides just like it did stock. No complaints at all.

Anybody know anything about the ProComp lifts?

Local offroading shop has a black friday sale on ProComp lifts. Can get the 6" (which I would set to 4") for $200 off, no tax and half off install. So basically I would be a little over $2000 out the door....

That's what I have, angles aren't the best even with the spindle dropped but it's been problem free for 3 years of hunting and highway and 55k miles but my stock front end was treated to the Kyptonite kit @50K

Ok.. so narrowed it down to a few different setups (mainly based on local reputable shops that are dealers/would do the install)... Heres the pricing installed OTD...

ProComp $2000 with their base shocks
Zone $2100 installed with their base hydro shock
Cognito NTBD $3200 with Bilsteins
BDS $2500 with base or +$300 for Fox 2.0

The other I factor that plays into this is wheels. I have H2's, which I believe are 5.5" backspacing, I believe they will work with the BDS, Cognito and Zone. On the ProComp I would need to buy new rims so that would be an additional cost...

Enough quality difference between any of the kits to justify the added costs? How the ride on the Fox 2.0 compared to Bilsteins (I currently have 5100's)?

Zone or bds but I've heard those fox 2.0 are super nice. Kinda suprised James has chimed in. That mfer knows his chit when it comes to suspension. His opinion would be the one I'd really listen to

Spend the extra coin on upgrading the shocks. If you go cheap from the get go you will be buying new ones in a month. I swear they all come half blown to begin with.

So ordered up the BDS 4.5" lift with the Fox shocks and the Deaver mini pack for the rear. The dealer I bought from sells both BDS and Zone, but decided to go with the BDS because they could discount it, it is a NTBD and the Zone is a TBD (I am after ground clearance so NTBD is what Im after). Also, with the BDS kit, the dealer could get rid of the rear lift and save me money since I went with the deavers. (BDS ended up being $300 more than the Zone, which for me was worth the peace of mind with the warranty).

Should be in next week, not gonna get it on till the 9th though, as I will have my truck with me in OR on a elk hunt...

Ok, so the lift got installed today... Put the Deaver 2" on the back, sits super raked out. Should I put a block on the rear or how much do you all think the front end can come down? The shop said they set the front height where it was because they were concerned with the angles of the upper ball joint with my Kryptonite UCA's. At this point my options are... Put a small block (1") on the rear, lower it with the Kryptonite UCA's, try and find a set of stock UCA's and lower it back down... I like where the rear height is, so at this point i really wanna get the front end down some with murdering my geometry... Thoughts? Heres some pics of the trucks and angles...

Not sure where you got prices from, but Cognito NTBD with Fox can be had for right around the same price as the BDS. http://norcaltruck.com/2001-2010-cognito-4-6-lift-kit-a

Whoever you went through should have known better with your rear setup vs front..., unless they are just a parts pusher. Front looks like it can still come down about 1", and you will still need a 1.5" block in the rear.

Word of mouth referred this place to me, I feel like they are parts pushers (now, after the fact)..

The prices I listed were installed...

But live and learn, whats done is done, now I just need to figure out how to fix it. Sounds like drops the front and inch and then from there figure out how much I need on the rear to make it sit level.

Any idea on if I can drop the front with the Kryptonite UCA's or do I need to go back to a stock UCA?

Upper ball joint angle looks good from what I can see in the pic, 1" won't hurt you.

Its supposed to rain all weekend, going to try and get the front end down some, then bring it in next week for an alignment. Just ordered a set of SOTA SSD wheels, and Nitto Terra Grappler G2's 275/75r17. Hopefully by this time next week the truck wont look so stupid.

So relaxed it a little more. Dropped the front end about 1.25", amazing on a long bed how much difference that made, looks way better. CV angles are about flat. Gonna take it in for an alignment Monday.
