The most important thing is how a lift affects your ENJOYMENT of driving your truck.

Or we would all be driving Priuses ...

My personal pref is stock or lower. Better fuel economy, better handling, quicker and faster, easier to work on the engine, and easier to load heavy stuff in the bed.

As much HP as you are capable of making it will be more than 2 tenths. You will lose about 8 or 9 hundred pounds that's worth than 2 tenths or more with the tune that the lifted truck couldn't leave on with out going all over the track you leave it stock you'll love your truck a lot more

I have two now also and completely agree with getting under it better. Working on them might be better with the lifted truck though because you can get to a lot of things with the fender wells out. It would be really nice to pick up a few tenths on the ET.

Lifted trucks look great, but with what you've got done to your truck, I personally would go stock height and hit the drag strip.
I suppose having one of each is the best bet.

Re-gearing wont change much in the 1/4. You might drop .2 (ok its alot to some lol) and the biggest thing the bigger tires will do on stock gears is load the motor/turbo(s) more. I wouldnt lower my truck for anything and with only 550hp and 7600lbs i managed to bend a rod and run a 13 flat. It will 12s when the motor is done. How many can say their cc/lb on 37s can run that fast :D

x2 thats what i was after was that 12.99 just to say i did it ran a 12.90 on motor and has not seen the track since lol its fun to be big and fast but i personally would have not lifted mine if i had to do it over
