i fit 315/70R17s with the bars all the way down. Essentially a 34"x12.5" tire. Yes they rub but you just have to make austin power manuevers

haha yeah I don't care if they rub much since I am just gonna put them on at the pull then take them off.
Durally max do you think 8.5 is wide enough for a 33x12.5 or would I benefit by going to like say a 10"
Also what ply rating would you suggest

8.5s work just fine a 10" will flatten the tire out a little more though
as for ply i have no clue which is best, you dont want your sidewalls flexing.
