Hey I'm new to this forum thing but I recently got a 2011 3500hd and I was wondering what size lift I should get to run 33s. And also what is the best tire that'll last a few years?

Goodyear Duratracs hands down the best tire I have been around... Excellent snow & Ice, and wear real well. I have heard some complaints on wear but the ones I have been around have been awesome.

No problem. I also like the toyo at & mt tire. I can't seem to kill my At's, not the best traction but wear forever. If they ever die goodyears are going on.

One last question.. Y'all think I can run 35s with a 3" level in front and 2" in the back? I don't want to half ass this truck but I want it to look pretty bad ass

With the right offset and trimming you could. But i wouldnt. Id level it, and throw some nitto trail graps on. Ive had mine for a good 13k miles and the tread is all still there.

Hi there, nice truck and welcome.

First, i wouldn't suggest leveling the truck with the torsion bar adjustment method, IMHO, there are too many negative side effects to using this method

Second, I think I know the look you're after, and it can be had w/a 4" lift set as low as possible with a 3" lift in the rear, some 35's and some 10" wide 18's or even 20's that have a 4 3/4 back space and something like a -12 to -22 off set.

Maybe somethin like this:

This is a cognito 4" lift, set at 4"
in the rear, I removed the overload and added a 2" DEAVER mini pack, I still have 1 3/4" of rake from front to back
