Well you ran your fastest times on your proxies I would stick with those
Actually my best times where on Yokohama AVS S/T 245/70R-17's.
I had to replace all four in April.
Sticky tires are a trade off. You will trap less MPH, but often have the same ET as steel radials due to better 60's.
But, if the track is hosed, they will show huge gains. Kinda like insurance. They don't usually hurt if you don't need them, but if you do need them they make worthwhile difference.
