Bump.
How did you mix the base and the clear. As in what ratio. Or did you do the "aw that looks about right" method.

i just mixed it till i thought it was where i wanted to be.. I had to lay on several coats to get it to where i wanted.
I need to get this done to my truck. As far as it being a hazard, I think if someone is actually paying attention while driving, and is looking at the back of your truck, they should DEF. be able to see them. Plus I have a line of fire as well....and a third brake light, so if someone says I didn't see his brakes, they are blind or stupid.
I'd love to do this. Looks great!! I'd have to tape off the reverse light though - I have a hard enough time seeing!! haha

:rofl: its my personalized plate and i get that alot! evrywhere i go i get asked about it. its really simple once u break it down.

I asked my buddy at the body shop today about this, he said he heard of it but never tried it. I guess my tailights, third brake light and clearance lights can be a test.
