at around 2'200 I'd say when I staged might have gave it more when I was watchin the lights idk. I was nervous but my boost gauge broke so I had to go by rpm/feel

Tell me why than paint, why is mph higher without lockup? Factual, not "it just is" Since your the big drag racer, and i'm the one thats not experienced with drag racing (which that was the first time in my truck so your right on target :thumb:)

pretty simple... no lockup equals slippage, lockup equals no slippage. I can only go by what i have learned and seen with my eyes. If you are so concerned about your torque converter then go log TCC Duty Cycle and make a WOT run on 5 speeds 97% is locked i assume it is similar with 6 speeds. I am trying to offer you explanations as to why potentially your truck is not running the way it should. Don't get all pissy

Slippage would show higher rpm, thats it. You cant get good mph when your slipping. You arent putting all the power to the ground when it slips hoss cat

I ran between 13.3 and 13.5 with an average of 1.950 60' (im just rounding the average) Does it really seem so odd that with a better 60' I would have a faster pass?

Don't know what to say guys. It barely smokes atall. Same track Dale Smiths truck has run multiple records on, maybe his times where off too. I'm not trying to be a smart ass just really don't see how I can fool the light.

Don't be a keyboard expert. He says he pulled that fast of a 60 then believe him. This thread wasn't about "do you believe my 60's?" NO! Some people are the most knowledgeable people with a keyboard in front of them but when you put a wench in their hands they're jackasses!
I'd say log some runs and see if you were holding rail pressure or not. Might help to put what you have for fuel mods. Fprv shimmed? Lift pump?

Maybe you were staged with the back tires on those other passes? I don't see a high 1.4/low 1.5 being legitimately possible in your truck like you say it was set up.

When the TC is locked it bogs the engine down.
Same thing with a 2wd. If you spin off the line your MPH will be higher than if it hooked.

Went to the track tonight. Kinda wanted a twelve but it had a hell of a hard time coming out of the hole.

Well your times do seem to be inline with a 60ft like that when you break it all down. It's just hard to see how with a set up like that it would 60ft that hard and you say you had a hard time comming out of the hole? Did they prep the track for someone or some special event? I can see why people would question it as no one 60ft's on all terains like that. What else is done to your suspension? I could see a low 1.60 60ft on street tirs as others have done it but a 1.49?? Either way you need more speed through the 1/8th as my stock turboed lbz had about an average of 4mph more through the 1/8th with only the spare and tailgate off so when you get that figured out then you should easily run 12's.

I still can't quite buy the 1.4x or 1.5x 60s on your setup and at your power level. Granted my truck is slow but running 12.73 @ 106.7 I cut a 1.69 on Proxes and was pretty happy and was at a big bigger power level than you. I also remember at Sac when Trent smoked the lights it said he cut a .9x 60...just some food for thought
