anyone ever used them on a duramax? i don't have a very good understanding of our steering system so i don't know if it would work and I don't have my truck to look it right now...

yeah that will do nothing for our trucks. and honestly, unless their steering racks have some kind of lock for the amount of turns the wheel can go, adding those spacers does nothing cause the rack can only go as far as the teeth that are in it.

they are also talking about rack and pinion steering compared to our draglink setup. adding spacers would make the tire toe out, so when you went to set them back straight, you essencially jsut jsut got rid of the spacers. to change any kind of steering angle or input you would have to change the centerlink, pitman/idler arm mount position, or knuckle connection to the tie rod

gotcha...well i know it works on cars ive seen it in person but like i said i never really dug into the steering on out trucks...

so when we're full lock we're completely out of teeth there's nothing else to stop the travel?

sucks,....would def be nice to get a little more steer out of it

We dont have "teeth" so to speak. Thw gear box uses a worm gear and a sector shaft. Without doin like i said, no you cant BUT

What steering are you running? Stock centerlink or straight? and if straight, from who?

stock with braces.. now that i think about it the braces would probably limit it anyway

your pretty much gettin all the steering you can out of your truck. Braces shouldnt limit you unless they are hitting part of the frame/steering box/centerlink. No turning radious should be lost by putting them on

for better turning radius, you need to mount them to your rear steering axle

:roflmao:
