So I put in a new steering box last weekend and with keeping my tie rods in the same position this box has the steering wheel off from being centered.
Is there a "norm" on how much each revolution on a tie rod makes on the steering wheel? Degree wise?
Truck tracks straight with out hands on the wheel, so I just want to move each tie rod equal revolutions to make the steering wheel centered.
Steering wheel is off around 30-40 degrees.
I also put a Kryptonite Stage 3 leveling kit on my truck at the same time.
Truck will get an alignment, but want to wait a few miles to make sure everything is settled into its new home. My alignment shop recommended 500 miles.
MY OCD wants the steering wheel clocked correctly before then.
Thanks for the input
