Well I got my 4 injectors done truck is way more responsive and at idle sounds nice. But at around 1800 rpm you can hear a ticking sound it will go away when at cruising speed but as soon as it hits a bit of a load it comes should I be concerned or not?? Thanks for any input. Motor is lb7 wasn't sure where to post this as it wouldn't let post under lb7

Did you torque the injector hold down bolts? If you did, what did you torque them to? A lot of times the injector may not be fully seated against the copper sealing washer resulting in a "tick" or "knock" under load which is cylinder pressure making its way passed the sealing washer. It's been a while since I did mine but I know I didn't go with stock torque numbers on the hold down bolts. Also before tearing back into it try adding some fuel additive. My injectors are noisy but seems if I add some stansdyne performance additive it seem to quiet em down a bit. Or try some 2 stroke oil.

Had the injectors done at a reliable shop that I trust and today I did add some 2 stroke to the fuel so I guess I'll see what that does. No codes at all

I don't understand why guys still suggest adding two stroke oil to these trucks. That's for old injection systems, not common rail. 2 micron fuel filters don't allow much through.
Add a good lubricant/cleaner like Howes or Stanadyne. Works much better.

Do you have any tuning done to the truck? Is it injector rattle or something else maybe?

I had the same issue and it was a injector not sealing. Factory torque isn't enough for the hold downs. I bumped it up 10 lbs i think and its been good.

We have used the factory torque on the hold downs which is 37ft lbs and never had any issues here. Nothing to worry about Lee.

I had 2 that were leaking compression past the copper and almost all the rest were not tight at all. I upped the torque to 45 and it felt alot better. Granted my truck is turned up a good bit which i guess could be the culprit.

When is the last time you had your torque wrench checked or calibrated? what do you use?

Thanks will talk to the shop to see what torque spec they used. Don't know if related but the truck is starting alot harder alot more heavy cranking before starting??
