Brian, what did you have done to the suspension of your LBZ in the picture when you first lowered it?

First lowered it was 5" drop shackles and overload gone. Stock up front other than drop torsion keys full cranked.

The only other thing I did to get it on the ground was 2" drop spindles in addition to the drop torsion keys, and then DJM rear leaf hanger drop.

This is the only pic I have of my 06 LBZ when it was lifted, this was back in May/June of 2006

After the lifted was removed and it was leveled

When I first lowered it

Just before I sold it in 2011

I love that truck, looks like it went through a lot of changes but I think its pretty awesome in all of the pictures.

It definitely did. from a Fabtech 6" lift 18's and 35's, to leveled and rode like shit, to stock height, to a 3/5 drop and then to 4/6 drop. :D

Day I bought it from my dad. June of 06. All stock with some 305/70r16s on it and an afe drop in filter. Edge w/attitude was under the back seat all disconnected lol

Two months later I lifted it with a fabtech 8" lift set at 8" on 37" discovery stt and my walker Evan wheels I still have. I told myself then, "this is all I'm doing, in a college kid and it's all I need". My dad was quite jealous of how it looked lifted so his 07 he bought got a lift too lol

SO thats how the Limo started. Its come a looonnng way. :hehe:

Yup! For 4-5 years before I left to college, I rode in the back seat this bad boy on camping trips or family trips out. I still remember the first day we picked it up from the dealer when it was delivered and riding home with my dad goin "man look at all the neat stuff they come with now". Programming the key fob to do different setting for the locks was "out of this world" to me at the time lmao

Ever miss having a bed on there to put stuff in? Do you remove because it's easier to see the trailers?

Not really I have another truck or I just take my trailer
Took it off for weight, ~700lbs, was of access to coupler toolbox especially come winter when everything is covered in ice/snow.. The truck weighs 7500lb fuel tank of fuel..
I weighed it without the bed, tool box and 16" wheels it was ~5800lbs with 3/4 tank of fuel in a OEM 36gl tank.
The weight i saved with removing bed and tailgate I have replace with steel 19.5, added ~30gallons of fuel for total of 60gallons, the 48" chest tool box is packed full with 14 2x30' straps 3 3" x30' little more than basic mechanic tool box 1/4, 3/8,1/2" SAE/metric STD and deep sockets wrenches screw drivers cressent pliers 12 ton bottle jack
Full ectrical bag. Top of the box is just under my rip cage and easily get to it from either side.. Vs climbing over the bedside in the bed and around the neck.
