The price sounds pretty good if everything he says is true, but it sure sounds like there's room to haggle on the price. The only thing that makes me go "hmmm" is the driver's seat. My dad's 300k mile leather LMM seats are in better shape than that seat, and it isn't because he cleans and conditions them all the time.

Yeah that drivers seat would bother me as well.

I dont really know many people personally with LMMs, so I'm not sure if they seem to have consistent issues or not or if theres anything to be aware of

Looks like you can go there and haggle him down to a real good price! It's OK as it is, but I'm sure you can get it for less than he is asking.

They're pretty good trucks. I like them. Their biggest problem is the DPF.

I would delete the DPF for sure as well as the EGR.

What kind of price would you think? The NADA value around here says

Rough Average Clean Clean Retail
Price with Options $26,150 $27,750 $29,050 $33,525

Don't worry so much about value as what he will let it go for. It's not a bad price as listed, but it doesn't sound like he's firm on it. I bet he would drop it a couple of thousand. I'd go in and hit him at $22k and just see what he says.

I gotcha.

I think he dropped it from 28k a few days ago.

Im just hoping it would be a good investment in the long term vs my truck now studded, deleted, etc

If the worst thing you find on that truck is the drivers side seat is ripped (other than the dent in the front fender), then thats not too bad. Could be he just didnt use the step bars properly when entering/exiting.

Only way to find out for sure is to go look at the truck.

For sure. Its tempting.

Just looking at the Kelly Blue Book value as well, the fair condition value is 29k.

But like Josh said, Im sure I could talk him down

The sheet metal on the trucks nowadays is pretty thin, the best repair for the bed is to have it re-skinned, I'm sure others will disagree and would bet the repair is about $1500-2000.00 WAG to repair... My 2007 NBS 2500HD gasser bed kinked in a few places when I backed into a pole right rear corner pushing the bumper into the bed.

i would start at 22k as well. I like all the options and fact that it is bone stock. If your like me and picky then youll need to fix the seat and bedside.

If he needs to sell I bet he would go even lower, price is right on it even now but lower is always nicer! As long as its drives good and no issues I wouldn't hesitate

Right,

Its all about how much I can get for my truck at this point which will bring me closer to pulling the trigger

I agree with all. Start him at 21-22k. So you have some wiggle room. If he needs to sell he might bite. Money talks brother!

Good luck if you attempt to buy it. Let us know how it goes!

I love my lmm. Hate what happened to my lly and the fact that I have a payment now but I love the truck. Agreed that's a good price. I just paid $26,500 for my ccsb lt z71 2010. Mine has more miles but it also has no dents, scratches and the interior is perfect.

You must have just gotten it since your signature isnt updated.

I would have a payment for longer, but I hate that everything I've done to my truck will be wiped away basically as far as having to buy most of that stuff over again at some point.

I dont NOT like my LLY, I just like the thought of something new. I definitely dont NEED a new truck though
