Twins break stuff faster, rods go bendy, single is easier on it bc power(torque) is made higher in rpm range.



That’s fully dependent on tuning. I have a buddy pushing 300,000 twinned km on his stock bottom end LMM. Actually I know of 2 LMM with lots of stock twinned miles on them. Both have headstuds though.

Heavy foot breaks stuff faster.. My GM tech / tool supplier / engine builder just smoked a piston in his 200k LLY truck with no mods but a tune and a lift pump. Built his tranny, and its stopped limping. Didn't make it a year of heavy footing till piston let go..
