Don't know the specs, but with it its a 1,400hp EMD 8cyl so 2 of them on our boat. Which the last boat I was on was 1,900hp each 16cyl EMD

I think 6v16 is a typo if you are talking Detroits the V6 cylinders came in 6v53, 6v71 or 6v92 The V16s came in 16v71, 16v92 or 16v149.
That would be 6 or 16 cylinders in a V configuration fallowed by cubic inch per cylinder
The 16v149 would be 2384 cubic inches
The 6v53 would be a measly 318 cubic inch's
If they made a 6v16 it would only be 96 cubic inches.

Sorry, they are not Detroits, they are Hyundai Himsen. we have 6 of them, each are v16, and each are 11k hp. Probably should have worded it differently.

This is a picture with two of the heads off for exhaust valve replacement. You can see the twin turbos at the end of the bank.
