If it's holding that much pressure over night your cap could be bad,mine was. It could still be a injector stuck open or leaking enough to wash down the cylinder walls creating excessive blow bye. I said could but if you have 'pressure' it's going to most likely be a piston issue.

Well, I started to do a comp test. 7 out of 8 glow plugs looked normal. #6 was clean except for some sparkles on tip. So I decided to test here first. 100+ Lbs, but tip was filled with what looked like brake lathe filings :(. So now I'm waiting for my brother with his bore scope.

Sorry to hear that bud,im having my engine rebuilt rite now and i hope this horor story doesnt happen to me or anyone else on here for that matter:eek:

I have to pull an injector. You cant use a bore scope through glow plug hole. I forgot actual hole into cylinder is only about 1/8", just enough for tip to protrude.

So #6 was only ~100lbs and the rest were ok? Sucks, sorry to hear :(
