Yes that is what all of us do. I turn people down all the time. I will gladly turn away every person who requests one. I don't want there money.
Think of it like an off roaders park. If everyone starts going off trail or leaving trash out there, they are going to close it down. That is what the EPA is currently doing to the Diesel Aftermarket. Fining/closing shops because people like YOU fed the trolls smoke tunes.

Your problem is your utter disrespect to the Duramax community as a whole. You continually bash other tuners and the like, and act like you are the only one who knows how to tune, because you have a degree. Yet you have nothing to claim any form of accomplishment other than smoke tunes.
While there may be some rivals in the community, most of the big name people you are bashing or that are reading through your stuff, talk to each other. Most are all friends with the companies supplying the aftermarket stuff you sell. Burn too many of those bridges and you'll be curled up in your moms basement making smoke tunes forever.
Making customers happy is what a business should focus on. Make them happy with a tune that is clean, drives good, gets good mileage and has enough torque to stop the rotation of the earth. I promise they will have forgotten they asked for a smoke tune. My two young boys like diesel smoke and once in a while I'll show them a little on a back road when no one is around. But they like it ten times more when I do a launch and shove there eyes to the back of there skulls.
Actually, yes. Be a responsible educator instead of a whore, how about that? Most of the "big name" tuners out there have enough self-respect to tell smoke and lope lovers that they wont tune a truck that way, and they explain why.
Or is the "almighty buck" the bottom line for you, where you prey on the uneducated, the young kids who don't know better....and you think you are not culpable later on? Just look at what the EPA is doing now to see what your (and others) idiotic tuning and promotion of smoke has helped bring about....

I say I go out and start selling smoke/lope tunes, then turn around and give them pilotless tunes and make em sound like a powerstroke. Or drop rail pressure and make it blast white out the pipe for them. Like man I made a smoke tune early on, but I have sinced erased them and will no longer distribute them. I do this as a hobby and don't charge, but even I won't make a smoke tune anymore for somebody. I wish I would have done the last one somebody asked me for, but sent them a pilotless tune taht wouldn't get out of it's own way. Make em think they lost an injector.
Damn Manfred got wind of this thread and joined. I want to see some educated answers coming from an Engineer of his caliber.

Like tom said, Most big name tuners will not make a smoke tune. They do not want their name associated with that crap. Others do make smoke tunes but do not promote it. Longhorn on the other hand has nothing but pictures and videos of idiot children smoking people out and doing dangerous things. Goes to show that you only care about money and not your reputation, unless having a shitty rep is what you are all about. Sure, those little kids think you are cool, but to the rest of the Dmax community, you are a F'ING joke!!!

With decent condition LB7s under $10,000 now, they are getting more affordable for younger people.
Exactly. You can get lb7s around here for as low as 5k if you jew them down enough. Ive seen levi do it twice lol
