I want to post an attachment based the iPhone pics. I can't seem to do that directly. I must first fight with iTunes (autolaunch POS), then iPhoto, then download pics to Mac, then do the attachment. I can't "see" the iPhone picture library from the Mac. But, you CAN from any PC.

Also, an iPad will charge from a PC notebook, but not a MacBook.

In general, the interface between iPhones/iPads and MacBooks sucks, compared to using a PC.

I'm trying out "RapidAir" available on Amazon.com. It's 3/8" ID plastic hose with slip-connections and aluminum manifolds. But first I do the major plumbing with 3/4" copper since I need air more than 100' away from the compressor. I am putting the RapidAir inside the walls.

RATS - I was going to post pictures of RapidAir, but Apple Mac's don't communicate with Apple Iphones for shiit. Funny how iPhones and iPads work better with Windows than with OS/X ...
3/4 cooper $$$$$$ just use black pipe or even plastic,i put 3/4 black pipe in,cut and threaded it all rite off the (work)truck

Ordered the insulation today, gonna order the garage doors tomorrow and pick up the A/C's next week from home depot. Hopefully have a few friends lined up so I can put the sheet metal on in the next 2-3 weeks

Friggin garage doors are no joke. The cheapest I found for 2 10x10 roll ups w/ openers is $3k installed

Hmmm strange! I have my mac and iphone/ipad set up so the autolaunch does not happen. I have to manually open and sync itunes to these devices. Now I have a Macbook Pro and not sure if the versions of itunes available for a Macbook and a Macbook Pro are different? In itunes once you have your device connected scroll down in the summary tab and you will see options you can uncheck the open itunes when iphone is connected and that stops the autolaunch! Now for the iphoto autolaunch to take care of that, plug in your device and let it launch. After it launches goto your applications folder and open the program Image capture and then select the device and you can select the option you want in the bottom left of the window. This will let you plug in your devices and nothing will happen unless you want it to! It helps a bit as if you need to pull a pic from your phone quick you can plug it in open iphoto and then just import that photo and then utilize it as needed!! Hope this helps and sorry to throw this thread off track!! My apologizes!!

WOW! This is from the grave!!!

I finally got to working on the shed again. Got the overhang framed up Saturday. It was originally gonna be an overhang but I have decided to close it in. I'll put up the shed first and hopefully before the end of this year close in the small part.

After that I'll pour another 10' of concrete on the side for the trailer.

Haven't gotten anything else done since this last pic. Found a guy near me who quoted me $1500 to install the insulation, sheet metal, and trim. I think I'm just gonna let him do it for that price!!

Sheetmetal install in progress. Roof and front wall left to go.

Ordering the doors this AM.

One question for you guys. What kind of lighting would y'all recommend. The shop is 30x30. I was thinking hi psi sodium. Any suggestions/pros/cons? Let me hear it!

Thanks in advance!

I would do 4 lamp flourescent hi-bays or t-8 8' Strips, either of those will give you better light than hps. HPS will give you a yellow output, where as flourescent will give you more of a clean white light. The other option you could look at is a metal halide low bay fixture, but I think that would be overkill for that size of a building.

Loook at Home Depot in the lighting section. They carry Lithonia 6 lamp 4' high output t8 florescent lights for roughly $80 per fixture. I put 6 of these in my 36x54x16 shop and it lights it up excellent. I couldn't find these fixtures anywhere else for less than $200 each. They are sold as a "high bay" fixture, so they will have to be mounted as high as possible to get the light to disperse(spread) properly. I'll take a picture tonight out there.

Ok. Forgive my ignorance, but the high bay have to be hung and the low bay can be surface mounted right? If so, how much actual hang do I need to mount the high bays? Is 6" from the ceiling enough?

I would think that would be fine, I would just get some jack chain and put a piece on each corner so you can level them out. I can look tomorrow at work I've got a program that will tell me how many you will need also. Or you can go to Cooper Lighting's website I believe they got a something on there to figure it out also.

Holy moly. That should work for me. 6 of them hanging bout 6" from the ceiling spaced evenly on a 30x30 should be crazy bright.
