All your doing with the DHD box is applying 12 volts onto the TCC solenoid. It won't matter what gear you are in or what you are doing, It will lock.
I just picked one up for White Devil. Excited to see how this thing pulls with the TC locked. Right now it wont lock until around 80mph.
I am interested in seeing what happens when i flip the switch in first while staging. I know that the 5 speeds wont lock in first, so it SHOULD lock immediately when it hits second, but I think it will throw a code.

For sure. It isnt even installed yet. I talked to DHD and another guy who has one installed, they said that it would work like that, just throw a code and not let me go into reverse. i will do a couple test hits on the local Mexican highway before i hit the track.
The auto lock on my bt box never worked so I would hit the lock button halfway through first. As soon as it hit second it would lock. Never threw a code. I bet it'll work great.
I've never had a box and just recently run a new tcm tune from kory that commands lockup in 2nd. Went from 105 in 1/8 to 108 mph with no other changes.
Thought about that too. Run it in place of your t/h?

1055 with a little higher stall.
I tried a newer TCM tune that has the lockup tables mapped, but still didnt get the consistent lockup like the box gives. Plus i love me some 01 TCM OS...:hug:
Did you see what was in the other lane in my video? Poor little Cruze just couldn't hang lol
I noticed the tcm tunes usually only work with low stall. It worked great with my 1900 stall ML. It barely worked with my 1055 and almost doesn't work with my 1053. I mainly rely on my lock box now.
