First off I hope your Grandma gets betters
Thanks, but shes in NICU. we're keeping her comfortable. shecant do much of anything. cant even speak much more than a couple words. she was at home, triped and boinked her head. bleading internal on back of brain. kidneys shutting down. whats even worse is this is how her mom went, healthy as could be for mid 80's tripped at home and cracked her skull....
this is tuff!!! had to step out for a bit...
if i make it to 80 I'm getting one of those scooter things on tv

 Don't tell me you are one of those guys
C'mon can you blame me for the thought? she had her vw for 3 weeks and its at the dealer for a week now?!?!? I got over 180,000 on the truck and it hasnt been in the dealership that long. just had the ignition key stuck, wouldnt release it. when i called last friday they said they couldnt duplicate the problem.

i asked didnt my wife bring it in with the problem present?

yes.

then who pulled the key without figuring out why it was stuck first?

he's been talked to.

thanks chad.

i dont know what to think. one nurse come in to check, and asks mom and I if her 'DNR' wristband is correct and if the DPA has any changes.

next nurse comes in later, cant get her to respond to anything, what year is it?, what is your birthday, who is sitting there holding your hand (me), what is your name? nothing. then they say 'i see we call the therapy place, hopefully they'll get her up and about soon':confused::confused:

the most we got out of her was when i told her i was leaving and i would come back tomorrow. she said ok.

Hope your Grandma gets better.

My Mom's VW broke too, the fans weren't coming on and it would run hot and blow hot air from the a/c. It was only like 2 weeks old:rolleyes:

had to look in here to see when this all started... 7/24, a little before.

we lost grandma last night:(

This all started because she fell, hit her head, and had a stroke. All about the same time, and she never recovered and was never the same.

She was healthy as she could be for an 86 year old before that. I had just taken her out to dinner a week or so ago before she fell.

I know everyone is busy, we all have to work and have other responsibilities to take care of. But dont be too busy for your your family and friends. You never know when something is going to happen and then it's too late
