Bout to sell the twins and going to triples. I still tow and daily the truck and current set up is around 900 or so. Looking for 1000-1100 and without losing drivability. S472/87 or what turbine and housing. .90/1.0 or 1.10? And a pair of S366/71, 73 or 74. T3 or T4 open. Please chime in if you have triples and would go a different route. Thx

I daily a 475/87/.90 with two T4 366s. It spools ok, with these injectors it is quite Smokey. The power potential is huge. My truck doesn't even haze on a ten second tune at wot.

Try the new SXE 366 as your atmosphere. They aren't clipping the turbine wheel in them anymore and they seem to be spooling and responding much easier at lower rpm

I hear those come with 360* thrust bearings also. How much more this the cost over the standard 366 though?

I would assume looser converter. The 1058 is too tight for a 75mm.
I have a 1055 on the white truck.

It spools ok, just a bit Smokey with these injectors. I wouldn't be afraid of going to a 300 in the valley as long as it was gated well. A big gate.

The prices I was given were about 2 times a out if the box 66. For extending towing a 472 and tow 366s is too much. A properly designed 300 series triple kit would be your better bet. I wouldn't hesitate to try say a 467.7 as a high pressure with two 63s or 66s.

These are my possible specs.
Billet S472/87 1.0
Pair of billet S366/73 not sure of housing, .91? T4
I would go with a 72/87 .90 with two 366/73 .88 (non divided housing). If you have a good gate around the 72 you can keep the housing tighter.

All of mine are cast wheels.

I agree, I wouldn't tow with my setup right now.

I would love to try a triple 300 kit.

I have towed say 5000 lbs with mine. The 200 overs just are not for towing. I ran a 371 of two 366s before. The problem I had was not being able to gate it enough to keep drive pressures down. It was just built wrong. That kit with proper piping and no bigger than 100 overs would be about as big of a setup as I would want to tow regularly with. Controlling smoke is your biggest hurdle there. Whatever you do consider that as being your biggest hurdle.

Question coming from a guy with a stock turbo...what's the benefit of a triple kit vs a twin kit for a truck like the OP has? Being that he wants to DD, tow & race with his truck. Is there a limit to the twins that the triples offer other than all out performance?

S366sx-e's can be bought for about $825 if you order the exhaust housing seperate and get a .91 a/r.
